September 29, 2006
So yea Mandy Moore rockin the Bathing Ape hoodie and shoes. I’ll admit that I had a crush on her, now even moreso because she can be me all the crazy expensive Bape stuff.

Well surprise surprise, all 4 contestants make it to the finals. It’s actually not so surprising if you look at what was shown during Fashion Week. All 4 contestants seem to have been represented. What is surprising is that Laura is accusing Jeffrey of cheating on his runway show. She is claiming that he outsourced his sewing for the line. Bravo is not revealing the truth until the finale airs in October.

I don’t really know who these are supposed to be made for. They are skateboards designed to be used indoors; they have padding on them so shoes are not necessary. I can’t see many parents allowing their kids to skate inside. It may be one of the office yuppie things, though I don’t see too many of them knowing how to skate. It also could be for those cool offices that have really really casual fridays and allow you to skate from cubicle to cubicle. yeah that must be it.

So fashion week came and went and I completely forgot about the Project Runway designer’s stuff. I don’t remember whether the fashion week episode is supposed to air this week or next. Anyways, these are a few of the designs that were shown at fashion week, you can find the rest at the link below. You can see that some designs look like Uli’s, Laura’s, Michael’s, and Jeffrey’s. Though there doesn’t seem to be too many of Jeffrey’s layered style dresses. I don’t know exactly for sure which designers were able to participate, but here you go.

Artist, INSA, is having a contest to win exclusive bandanas. Instructions are on the Insaland blog.

Well not really, but check out the video. He is really small and fills his house with toys. I’m not a huge fan of the Bape gear, but those zip up shark hoodies are pretty rad. Crazy high prices suck though… that goes for you to Pharrell with your BBC gear.

So Laura wins, which isn’t so surprising considering the contest forced the designers to use only black and white. Has she made a dress that was any other color? I don’t remember. Kayne was sent home, as I predicted. Surprisingly, they did bring back Vincent and Angela, but you knew they wouldn’t be around after the challenge because, let’s face it, they are terrible. I know I said earlier that it was a toss up between Michael and Jeffrey, but I think Michael will end up winning the entire competition.
Bay Areeeaaaa!!!!! Hubba wheels, the skateboard company, is releasing new skateboard wheels inspired by Mr. Fabby Davis himself. They will be released on September 18th and will sport a yellow bus theme. If I knew how to skateboard, these would definitely be the wheels I would get hyphy with. So do the dummy retarded and ghost ride it on your skateboard, while you thizz face. Yheee!!! Yheeee!!!

Congrats to Jeffrey for winning 2 in a row. He is definitely getting better and his experience in the industry is showing. I predicted that Vincent would be eliminated this week and I was right. Next week I predict it will either be Kayne or Laura going home, I’m leaning more towards Kayne because of his tacky style.

I can’t believe how unentertaining the entire show was. The host Jack Black seemed lost for most of the show. I usually think he’s funny, but his jokes were awful. Sara Silverman as well, she went on a couple of long drawn out jokes about Paris Hilton and Lance Bass the made the entire room dead silent. They had a small skit with Britney Spears and Kevin Federline where they pretended they’re baby was missing. It was horrible… why does Britney have to use a weird Southern accent and “pretend” to be dumb, the entire world already knows what a hick she is. The production and the directing of the show were rather poor too. Mics didn’t work and cues were missed. The presenters were stiff and their lines all seemed forced, but I guess that is standard for all award shows. The musical performances were actually ok though. Nothing was really all that spectacular, but nothing sounded or looked that bad. Then for some reason, Al Gore came out and started lecturing about global warming. He even brought slides with him, seriously SLIDES!!! I felt like I was back in school listening to a guest lecturer for extra credit, but with no reward afterward. All in all it was a pretty bad show.

and Jennifer Lopez looked like some kind of cancer patient.
